Met dear's friends for the first time today...at first I was feeling nervous, deciding if I should go. Well I have to meet them someday! We went to their sec sch(Presbyterian High School) carnival...it's crowded with people and we didn't really do much there. There are games and activities available but all quite ex. Their laksa cost $6 per bowl haha. It's a fund raising event so it's supposed to be more expensive I guess. His friends are funny but I feel abit awkward cos I didn't really talk much to his friends.
All of us were deciding where to go after that and we ended up going to Dhoby Ghuat. Wanted to watch movie, but the timings not very good so we went Billy Bombers to have dinner. All of them had the fish & chips dinner set and I had sirloin steak. It tasted nice at first but as I was finishing the steak it looks very raw so I decided to stop eating it. I feel abit sick after that...maybe it's the steak. They serve Ben and Jerry's ice cream for dessert and it's yummy! Too bad it's very chocolaty so dear don't really like it. We went Andy's house to watch soccer after that. Thinking of going Happy Daze to chill out after the soccer match but it's kinda late already so we didn't go. Was looking forward to it though. Maybe another day :) The soccer match is actually quite nice...Man U vs Portsmouth and Portsmouth actually won. It was very tyco though. I'm glad by the end of the day I've sort of 'break the ice' with his friends, eventually started talking to them. They are nice people...now I know why dear likes hanging out with them. |
